With much anticipation in 2016, the Belmond Grand Hibernian is launching the first luxury rail experience of its kind in Ireland! Guests will embark on an epic journey traversing the sprawling countryside, dramatic coasts and fascinating cities that define this captivating & magical island.
Rich with an authentic Irish atmosphere, the train’s beautiful cabins mix modern luxury with traditional design to sumptuous effect. The Grand Hibernian can accommodate up to 40 guests in elegant, en-suite cabins that feature a wardrobe, a writing desk with chair and a large observation window. All double cabins can interconnect with twin cabins, making them an ideal option for families travelling together.
The train also offers a cabin suitable for guests with limited mobility, specifically designed to allow wheelchair access into the cabin and en-suite bathroom.
The Observation Car evokes the atmosphere of a Dublin saloon. It is the perfect place to share stories with fellow travellers, listen to live music, or watch the changing scenery while savoring a glass of whisky or pint of Irish stout!
With cuisine rivaling the best restaurants in Dublin, dining aboard the Belmond Grand Hibernian is a true culinary sensation.
